What we do

At Hard To Human, we believe in the power of communities to foster resilience, support mental health, and create meaningful connections. Our community-focused programs are designed to bring people together, providing accessible mental health education, resources, and support for individuals from all walks of life. Whether through workshops, group sessions, or tailored outreach initiatives, we aim to build a culture where mental health is openly discussed and supported.

Our services are adaptable to the unique needs of each community or individual, ensuring that everyone has access to the tools they need to thrive. Together, we can help individuals manage their mental health and thrive in their daily lives.

For women aged 16 - 24 26% report having a common mental health problem in any given week.

Our Services

Workshops

We have developed a comprehensive range of courses and workshops to support and empower women people as they navigate their mental health journey. Each course or workshop can be tailored to meet the specific needs of various target groups, allowing us to focus on particular concerns or challenges different individuals may face. This flexibility ensures we can provide targeted, relevant support to help women achieve better mental well-being.

1-2-1 Support

Sometimes the thought of coming along to a workshop or a course can feel simply overwhelming. Or maybe you have done one of our courses, but feel that you would benefit from some additional support. We can offer an entirely bespoke mentoring and support service, focussing on giving you the tools and strategies for the lasting positive change you deserve.

Support Groups

We offer support groups for women who have been on one of our courses. These are a chance for you to continue building on your skills and knowledge, as well as build a support network of like-minded women. They are informal and friendly, with a chance for a cuppa (and sometimes cake!)

Every year in England 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem.
